Another Sad Observation

[The Sad Man]

we fade in to the general manager's office, where we find the universal champion going over paperwork. he still has the same tired look he had when bombardieru challenged him earlier in the locker room.

"ya become the fed's top champ, and do they give ya a hollywood movie? no, they give ya papers and more papers to sign," he mutters as he reads the documents. he looks up to the camera. "and you're here to record what i'm doin' here for some future dvd or somethin'"

"pretty much," says the cameraman. "you're the champ now."

"startin' t'feel more like some bloke in an office," the sad man replies. another man enters the room.

"hi there," says the newcomer, one of destiny wrestling's office staff. "ldavis2001 is looking for you, mr. sad man."

"where is he?"

"he's in the ring. he's calling you out."

the sad man raises an eyebrow.

"go on. what'd he say?"

the staffer shrugs. "dunno man. all he wrote was ldavis2001 walks to the ring with a mircophone and calls out the sad man"

the sad man stares at the staffer.

"that be all he said?"

the staffer nods. the sad man shakes his head.

"that ain't even a bloody roleplay. that sounds more like somethin' ya read on wrestlin' spoilers. why's that bloke out there in an empty ring anyway? we don't have any show till monday."

the staff shrugs. "dunno man. he does that all the time."

the universal champion hmphs as he goes back to the documents ellington gave him earlier.

"fartin' takes longer than your promo, laddie2001. the universal champion is a busy man, and he ain't wastin' another minute with ya 'til ya comes up with somethin' that actually be worth his attention."
