The Revival Ritual

[Chriso]

Robert and Chasm lay Chriso on his bench.
They go over to his locker and get out some things.
They knew this day would come...Chriso told them what to do.

Chasm begins drawing a chalk pentagram on the floor.
Robert sets up candles around it and put inside a picture of Chriso.
They pulls out a book from Chriso's bag and start reading the sacred lanquage.

Translated:

He fell this night, His bodies cold.
He wasn't warned, He wasnt told.
But you cannot kill him, we tell no lies.
Now we command you. Let his spirit Rise.

At these words the flames on the candles go out and and there is a chill in the room.
When the candles went out the room went dark, and the smoke hovered in mid-air.
Suddenly appearing in the moonlight shining through the window, in the smoke, stood Chriso.
He looks calm considering what just happened staring down at Chasm n Robert as they stare up at him.

joker is in the dark corner watching this all take place. His eyes do not glow with rage. Rather he stands there thinking about what has happened today. He wonders if he has gone to far. Suddenly he hears a voice telling him to shut up and remember the plans that are already laid out. He shrugs his head trying to make the voice disappear but it only persists. He tries fighting the demons inside him to no avail. He cannot push them out of his head. The rush of rage flows over him again as his eyes begin glowing again. He looks down at his chair and then back at Chriso. He hangs his head in shame but says nothing in the way of an apology. He walks out of the darkness and begins to speak.

This is not what I wanted with you or any of the other members of the Uprising. This is a new war that I take on. This is my burden to bare. All I ask is that you let me handle this my way. I am not asking for your help or even your understanding. I am asking you all to just let me be. Let me finish what has been started. Just back away from me and there will be no problems between us.

Joker looks at the rest of the Uprising and waits for an answer. Blood still dripping off of the chair and onto the floor as he waits.

[Chriso]

Chriso snaps his head towards Joker.
He is now in a calming mood after being out for soo long.

I asked you to get rid of that chair...
i asked you to do that do I didnt have to intervene...
But you didnt listen....
And thats why i am taking you on this week or next!
If i win....That chair is SCRAP!!!

Chriso smiles and picks up a replica of Jokers Chair.
He bends it out of shape and throws it to the floor.

He stands there smiling as Joker looks at the chair on the floor.

Joker looks at the chair on the floor and then looks back up to Chriso.

I guess the line has been drawn then. No longer on the same side but not the opposite side either. This is a war that I can win. Stay out of the way and it will be finished. Continue to interfere and it will become your problem as well. I am not here to threaten you Chriso. Only to give you some....advice. The battle is fought a different way now. Either you can fight it that way or get run over by all that wish it. You cannot win at the rate you are going. Sure you may win a title here and there, but as long as you fight your way someone else will always be there to mow you down. As far as the chair goes.... you may try to destroy it, but even you know that demons can never be stopped. Only transfered to a new home.

[Chriso]

Chriso looks down and shakes his head.
He looks back up with a smile suddenly across his face.

Well then...
I guess ill have to destroy each of its new homes...
As for us...
We will continue to fight this war....OUR way!
We dont want you as an enemy joker...
But you have left us no choice!

[Temperedjoker]

Joker looks at Robert, CHasm, and Chriso.

I am still a member of the Uprising and I will watch your backs whenever you need me to. Rage took over on me today. That is why your were taken down Chriso. I do not apologize for what happened, but the rage is out of control and will continue until I have my revenge. I have but one target left and he shall be dealt with soon enough. Forgive me for saying so, but I have to finish this out my way. But you three want something from me that cannot return. The Joker you seek is no longer here. He can never return like you want. You call me your ex-friend Chriso? But deep inside you are glad that one of us has finally accepted this darker side of rightousness. We all still have the same goals, just different methods of achieving them. If you cannot accept this then it is your own problem, not mine Chriso.

The glow in Jokers eyes fade ashis anger starts to cease. He waits for the others to speak.

[Chriso]

Chriso still calm just stares at Joker.

So your saying once this Chair comes into contact with Hawk....
You will return to normal?

Chriso shakes his head again

I dont believe you....
Once you do that. You will just keep targetting others....
As long as that chair stays with you...The old Joker is never coming back...
And if he is still there after Hawk....
Ill sign your Death Warrant now....

Chriso thinks for a while.

You know what....?
I posses the power of the Underworld and all its secrets....
But you are something new.....
I have flicked through each of my Sacred books and cannot find the cause....
Of a good man....Suddenly turning to...This!

Chriso gathers up the candles and rubs out the Pentagram still calm

[Temperedjoker]

Joker sighs and then looks back at Chriso.

It's not about me being good or evil Chriso. It's about me finishing something that they started. I am just willing to do what it takes to destroy them for good. You hear them talking. They fear me now. They know that their time is upon them. The Empire is starting to crumble around them and they can't stop it from happening. They are running scared. If I have taken things to far outside of this feud with the Empire then it is that persons choice to weep what they have sewn. I am not here top amuse these young wrestlers. I am here to make sure that they have a place they will not have to fear being. If that means becoming what everyone else despises then so be it. You want a match with me then fine. But once inside that ring, you know what you face with me. You know one way or the other what the outcome will be. It will never be any different. I have forseen it already. A great battle of Good vs. Evil. Two powers collide. Then......nothing. There is nothing after that. I cannot allow that to happen. My mission is clear to me. I must end this before there is nothing left to save. That is my purpose and that is my revenge. Tommahawk is just another victim to the cause. Another victim of the chair.

[Chriso]

Do what you will to Tommahawk....
He is the least of my concerns....

Chriso puts the stuff away and pulls out his book

But my blood is now on that chair....
This is something i cannot forget until that chair is destroyed....

Flicks through book and finds something interesting.
To himself reading the words:
If someone has been possesed by an evil spirit....
The only way to drive out that spirit is to....
He breathes out sharply and puts his head in his hand finishing the sentence.
Use that spirit as a weapon and beat the victim with it!

Drops the book and calls Robert and Chasm over.
Quiet voice:

I have to hit him with that chair in my match....To get the old Joker back.

Joker picks up the book without them seeing and opens the page Chriso was on.

[Temperedjoker]

Joker smirks and lets out a laugh. The glow begins to brighten in his eyes again. He looks up at Chriso and the others.

I have tried to explain what I must do, and you mock me. I have tried to show you the path that must be followed and you still mock me. I have shown the light at the end of the tunnel to you and you STILL consume yourselves with who or what you think I am. I grow tired of these games with you Chriso. You can beat me with the chair. You can release my blood with it. It doesn't matter Chriso. Why can't you see or understand this? Fine. Have it your way. I can see nothing will change your minds. You will not see what it is that I am trying to avoid then fine. I will finish this myself. With or without your help. I'm sure there is someone else in this company that will agree with me and what I am trying to do.

Joker stares at the others for a moment and then returns to the dark corner. The 3 men just sit there as they watch the red glow fade away into the darkness.

[Chriso]

Chriso stares in amazement.

How did he know bout the ch....

He suddenly strts looking around.
He see's the book lieing open where Joker was standing.
He picks it up.

He knows guys....
It just keeps getting worse...

An idea suddenly springs to his head.
He says to Robert and Chasm quietly:

Remember King Kong?..... *they look at him like he has lost it*
Beauty killed the beast.....
Who has he been seeing alot of lately? *still confused looks*
Michelle Stevens!!!
Maybe She can snap him out of this....
We have to get her to have a chat....Tomorrow.

Chriso sits down in his corner reading through the book.

[Robert Conrey]

Robert takes a deep breath then look to Chriso

Robert: "Chriso... I trust you, but be careful about what you are going to do, both ways is a dangerous path..."

Then he looks to Joker and back to Chriso

Robert: "It's not for Joker himself, I'm not scared by him, but I'm scared that we might fail to bring him back to who he used to be or..."

He thinks for a while than change tone

Robert: "Be careful with Sandra, she can't defend herself like us"

[Chriso]

Thinks for a while.

You dont have to worry about Michelle Rob....
I will place her under my protection until we get to the bottom of this....
Now is the time to go and get her....
He wont lay his hands on her...I give you my word!

Gets up and heads to Michelle's Dressing Room.
